Since 1996, Dogs with Wings Assistance Dog Society has provided hundreds of Autism and Mobility Service Dogs to people living with Autism and Mobility concerns. Additionally, they offer Companion Dogs to those needing meaningful care and support, and place Facility Dogs in organizations to support children, youth and adult victims in dealing with PTSD, trauma, health concerns, and abuse recovery. As a proud member of Assistance Dogs International and Humane Canada, they breed, train, place and support Dogs to help transform lives. Time is always of the essence as they attempt to meet demand, placing unlimited value on the generosity of community to volunteer and contribute donations. A focus on well-being, compassion, harmony, connection, and hope strengthens their team, bridges community, and ensures positive outcomes for years to come.

We are hosting our annual fundraising Gala, Beyond the Leash, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel West Edmonton and we need your support! This is our largest signature fundraising event and helps raise awareness of our programs and assists us in covering the costs of raising and training our Assistance dogs at $50,000.00 per dog! We are excited to build on 29 years of success and value your meaningful and unwavering support for our organization and incredible dogs.
Tickets and tables will be available for purchase online starting on April 1, 2025, at dogswithwings.ca. Early bird tickets are $175.00 until May 31, 2025, and then $200.00 until tickets sell out. The Gala includes a 3-course meal, puppy demonstrations, client and sponsor testimonials, and various ways to connect with likeminded animal and community lovers during our champagne reception! We anticipate another sellout, and we would love to have you attend!
