Beetle
Meet Beetle!
Breed: Labrador Retriever
Sex: Neutered Male
Birthdate: April 12, 2024
Sex: Neutered Male
Birthdate: April 12, 2024
Beetle is a hilariously busy, wildly entertaining, and endlessly enthusiastic young Lab looking for a home that matches his energy and drive. He lives to do things – whether that’s retrieving items (whether you want him to or not), exploring, learning, or helping you with literally anything. If you don’t give Beetle a job, he’ll find one himself – usually involving creative counter-surfing or spontaneous home “redecorating.”
Beetle is best suited to an acreage property or an incredibly active home where he can be mentally and physically fulfilled every day. He doesn’t come with an off switch, but he’s got all the makings of an amazing partner for someone who enjoys a good laugh and a lot of action. Tell him what to do, and he’ll do it with gusto – plus a side of comedy.
Other Notes:
- No medications or health concerns.
- Would thrive in a home that provides daily structure, guidance, and lots of opportunities to work and play.
- Beetle is sweet, silly, and loves people – he just needs help channeling his big brain and even bigger energy into something productive.
Buzz
Breed: Labrador Retriever (Yellow)
Sex: Neutered Male
Birthdate: April 12, 2024
Sex: Neutered Male
Birthdate: April 12, 2024
Buzz is a smart, high-energy, and endlessly creative young Lab looking for a home that will provide mental enrichment, structure, and patience as he navigates life with bilateral elbow dysplasia. While his physical activity needs to be limited, his mind is always working – if you don’t provide him with games, he will invent his own! He thrives on puzzle toys, scent work, and training sessions and would love a home with a good sense of humour that enjoys keeping him mentally engaged.
Despite his busy brain, Buzz is a sweet and loving boy who loves spending time with his people. He will do best in a pet-free home where he can enjoy one-on-one attention and a routine that balances enrichment and rest.
Other Notes:
Buzz has bilateral elbow dysplasia, meaning his physical activity should be controlled, and you must be willing to work closely with a veterinarian to manage his quality of life.
He is incredibly intelligent and needs daily mental stimulation to stay happy.
He will thrive in a home that enjoys training and problem-solving with their dog.
