A Call That Changed Everything
Six years ago, LaLa Young received a call from Dogs With Wings Assistance Dog Society that would change her life.
Dogs With Wings had identified a potential Service Dog match. The first step was making sure the new dog could live compatibly with LaLa's dogs at home. Once that step was complete, LaLa had the opportunity to meet and handle three Dogs With Wings dogs: DWW Poncho, DWW Que, and the dog who would become her Service Dog partner, DWW Pixel.
Six years later, DWW Pixel remains by LaLa's side. Their partnership continues to provide daily support, confidence, and connection.
DWW Pixel's working life is a reminder of the lasting impact a Dogs With Wings Service Dog can have — not only at the moment of placement, but through years of partnership.
