A Year of Comfort, Connection, and Support
Over the past year, DWW Pumbaa has brought comfort and countless meaningful moments to patients and families at the Stollery Children's Hospital.
Trained by Dogs With Wings Assistance Dog Society, DWW Pumbaa provides emotional support to children undergoing treatments and procedures.
Since joining the Stollery team, DWW Pumbaa has supported more than 1,000 patients.
To mark the one-year milestone, DWW Pumbaa celebrated with favourite treats, time with the Stollery community, and personalized paintings created for Stollery children at the Saville Family Beach.
