Dogs with Wings Formed in 1996, Dogs with Wings Assistance Dog Society is located in Edmonton, Alberta. Our MissionFostering independence and integration for Albertans with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support. Our GoalsTo train and graduate sufficient, qualified assistance dogs yearly to meet the growing demand. To increase our annual funding contributions to enable us to meet the demand. To enrich someone's life by helping them to become more independent, and to enhance their ability to contribute to the community through their job, education and volunteer work by providing them with a fully trained assistance dog. Our ValuesPersons with disabilities are important members of society who need our assistance. We work with and support other organizations that provide assistance to the challenged members of our society. We provide dedicated and innovative services and opportunities for our clients. Our organization exists to serve our clients; our volunteers are instrumental in meeting our goals. Our assistance dogs are not just working dogs, they are valued family members.
